Karen, Chris and the children did as you did and stretched out on sun loungers in pjs and sleeping bags at their place!

I saw about 12 meteors in the 20 mins I was outside. (one of them was red!)

In response to:Well, Well, Well, Brocante

Today we are in recovery mode!

In response to:Well, Well, Well, Brocante

Ah! the good life!!!
I have made one contact at last!
We started in 1999 when we did a tour of France, staying with many young people in different areas, friends who had lived with us for short periods over many years. This month long holiday, introduced us to parts we had not seen before, and we began to work out which areas appealed to us.
We considered people, culture, regions, accessibility to towns and other facilities, weather, all sorts.

Yes, I will tell more about it as we go. There have been memorable moments; funny, difficult, irritating, but we are now really happy.

In response to:Sunflower

I have thought many times of moving to France.
